Has anyone applied 4 or 6 ounces per acre of Panoramic 2SL or Plateau on bermudagrass to control summer annual grasses or weeds, strictly following label instructions?

I'm interested in how the herbicide may have suppressed the growth of the bermudagrass or any other damage.

My Midland99 hay field is in Pittsburg County, near Indianola, OK receiving an average annual rainfall of about 36 inches. The first cutting this year yielded 2 tons/acre; and, the second cutting yielded 4 tons/acre. I apply actual N-P-K-S (92-24-100-8) per acre in April for the first cutting and 50-12-50-8 for each of the following cuttings when sufficient soil moisture is available and rainfall is forecasted.

RiverRun, I appreciate your response.

An online search indicates that PANORAMIC and IMPOSE have the same active ingredient, 23.3% Imazapic; and, Tattnall County Extension, Georgia, quote below, supports your position on Imazapic injuring bermudagrass.

"IMPOSE can be applied between cuttings, once the height of the vaseygrass reaches 4-8 inches. IMPOSE will also temporarily injure bermudagrass. It will suppress growth for approximately 20-40 days, and cause yellowing of the foliage. It should not be applied unless a bermudagrass yield reduction for the first cutting after application is acceptable."
