Does anyone on here have any tips or tricks to get all the water out of a hydraulic system? I e been fighting water in my hydraulics on my tractor for awhile now. I've been changing it regularly and the filter get costly doing it so often. It is getting better but it is getting old. Am looking for some advice on the matter thanks for any input

Yep - get the oil hot (somehow) and steam off the moisture. Remember when things get hot they expand and when cool contract. Large cast iron reservoirs will exchange more air than you think during this process and with it brings moisture in (from the air).

I have read a couple of articles, stating that Sea Foam can help. I have never tried it though.
I was able to do a quick search this morning and it is actually called Sea Foam Trans Tune. The instructions say to use one container per 4 gallons of hydraulic oil. I have never tried this. I may try to research it more.
