Hello All
I have a 605G that is used on a hobby farm. 100 bales a year is about all it will see. The baler does not like to start bales. After you get a start it is perfect. So what it is doing is when you start a bale it does not like to pull that first bit in to start the bale. The unit will also (half of the time) pull the hay in and you think it is fine but then it spits it back out of the chamber and then might pull it back in or you end up just pulling it all out by hand. We are today replacing those horizontal rubber pieces of belt on the spinning drum. We also have replaced the pickup teeth. The large spinning drum in the chamber has the welded on bars but they are pretty smooth and round??? The belts on the machine are in good shape as far as wear but they are pretty smooth as I see it. The baler is adjusted by the book as far as hitch height, tooth to ground and tooth to drum spacing. Any help would be greatly appreciated if possible. Thanks and have a safe day.
