Does anyone have experience with the teeJet monitors? I’m looking at the TeeJet matrix 430 gps guidance system. I don’t need auto steer just gps for the seeding, tillage and spray work.

I have one and really like it. Does a good job for what i wanted it for, spray and fertilizer. Understand though without auto steer if you set it too precisely it will work you to death trying to stay on the lines if you have a little slop in your steering system, so give yourself a 2 foot leeway.

My steering system is pretty good and I think it’ll be fine without the autosteer.main thing for me is to see where I covered and where i haven’t. Does it allow to enter obstacles in the map?

We have something similar in the 5130 for spraying. It's just OK. Just, mind you. What makes it OK is the fact we have predominantly square paddocks for flood irrigation, and that I have RTK autosteer in the big Massey for sowing. Meaning when grass is short I can use the rows as guidance as well. Certainly helps to have a look ahead point to focus on. Doing circles (pivots) is a real pita as your cconstantly chasing yourself. I have every intention at some point of converting it to autosteer.
