Any reason the round aluminum feeder tines can't be replaced with the older style square aluminum tines found on other hayliners? The bracket fits the tine bar, although I have not checked length.

I cannot think of any reason why you couldn't use square tines as long as they fit securely and as you noted, are the correct length.

I would use the tines the 315 uses. On the 315 and later balers the squaare tines are mounted about 5” from the round tines.

I will definitely try this Mike, thanks. I'm guessing this may improve flow and uniformity?
