We started out pulling ours with a Farmall 560 D. It would pull it and run it,but it was working. The T/A helped alot when getting the bale started and then shifting to high, once the bale was started and hay was feeding in well. When I switched it to my 80 horse tractor, things went better, I was able to bale faster and make better bales by keeping the pick-up full.

Thanks. I have a Hubota M4-071 and my son has a Massey 175 diesel we have found a 640,650, and a 658 just not sure if we have enough tractor. Our land is pretty flat. Don’t know if I would be better looking at a Vermeer 504 series or not.
