I bought a RR1012e for $30 about 5 years ago and parked it in the weeds. The gearbox was ran dry and busted. The actual cast iron casing has a 3 inch hole busted out of it. It is complete otherwise.

Is it worth fixing? I figure replace the gearbox or maybe have someone weld up the hole and rebuild the inside. If parts are even available. It was the economy model. And is lighter weight than most I see. I've not had any luck finding parts online to look at.

We have a roller bar rake and a 3pt wheel rake. So a cheap rotary rake would be awesome. We only deal with 30 to 50 acres, depending on the year. So can't justify putting too much money into it. As I could buy an ugly cheap v rake with for $2k or less
