Last Saturday I shot video of a nice Farmall Super M selling on a large annual consignment auction in northeast Illinois (Leland, IL). At the end of this Youtube video I talk about Super M values over the past 17 years:
Dad and I have 3 SM's. Also have a SMD in a basket. Also have 3 SMTA and a fleet of M's. My dad is an avid collector of anything farmall. I could use a few less myself. Still have an M and SM with loaders that work great and i could out load about anything if the power steering was better. PS gets weak with 3 big squares (2500 lbs.) on front.
Thanks Pete, but it looks like you have at least 1 Super MTA tractor in you list of Super M's. The one you mentioned that sold for pretty top dollar that you mentioned has the TA. They are really a seperate model of tractor, just like a Super M is different than an M. I am sure you are aware of this. Obviously it makes a big difference on price between an M, a Super M, and a Super MTA. Thanks for your efforts and for posting here!
