Located in SE.Central Pa. I have a dose of Fall armyworms marching thru my mixed grass hay fields ( OG, Kent.Bluegrass, Fescue, Tim.and other unidentified grasses). This late in the year I don't plan to address the buggers.
Will the crowns survive or should I plan to reseed in the spring?
TIA
Fred

I just finished baling my neighbors field last Saturday that was invaded by Armyworms about 30 days earlier. It made one 4X5.5 rd bale per acre. Due to him being my ""new neighbor"" I charged him only $45 per acre to cut/rake & bale his hay.

I'd still spray them with it only costing a $1.5 an acre to kill them
