I am on the road so I will try to explain from memory on your baler. Find the large spring lower mount on the tailgate. There is a 3/4” bolt going up from the bottom of a round tube into the spring. Now look at that round tube and follow the round tube to the side sheet. You should see a 3/8” rod going up through the round tube.

Follow the 3/8” rod to the upper end of the rod. You will see the rod goes into a shaft sticking into the tailgate. With the gate closed the shaft is behind the upper arm the large spring is attached to. That shaft needs to be put under that arm. To do that, raise the tailgate enough so the shaft is now below the arm. Pull down on the 3/8” rod and rotate the rod. That will pull the shaft out of the tailgate and under the arm. Lower the tailgate enough to get slack in the belts, and open enough so you can enter the bale chamber if needed. ONLY WORK ON THE BALER AND BELTS AFTER YOU HAVE LOCKED THE TAILGATE WITH THE LOCKOUT VALVE.
