There is a lot to consider when renting buildings for cattle. Fence maintenance, keeping the cattle in. Building maintenance, hauling manure, feeding, snow removal if you do this in winter. Water animals especially in winter. Will the animals have access to pasture or locked on the yard during the spring thaw. Are you talking market steers, moma cows or some yearlings. I don't know what to tell you for number. You will have to have a good talk with the owner and come up with something you can both live with. Just trying to give you things to consider. Also is it right next door to where you live so you can keep an eye on things or 10 miles away that requires daily travel to feed animals.
