For my birthday my wife got me a film scanner. I have taken all of my dad's slides and transferred them to the computer. This will take a while but I am working on retaking certain pictures as close as possible to the original. Wish he was here to see them.

Really cool! It's always interesting to see pictures from back in day. They look like they turned out well. I am Fifth generation on the same farm and we have a couple of pictures of the farm from all generations. It's really amazing to see the progress and changes. Our barn was built in 1865 and its been added on to several times and we have the pictures to prove it. The old saying "Isn’t it funny how day by day nothing changes, but when you look back everything is different?" by C.S. Lewis comes to mind. It takes pictures for us to realize that...

Visit lindellhaysales.net. We found that dad took the same picture that my wife took when we first got together and has recently added dads to the website.
