Hello guys, I'm hoping someone can help me figure this out. I've got an old Deere 336 square baler with a 30 kicker on the back.
When the kicker fires the valve is sticking. Oil continues to flow to the pan cylinder which holds the pan in the air. The only way to reset the valve is to pull the lever into the lockout position.
I've had the valve apart but can't find anything wrong with it. From what I've read it seems the issue could be the detent that grips the rod under the cap on the end of the valve body. I took this apart, cleaned it as best I could, and put it back together but it made no improvement at all. It appears as if the cap itself should come apart but I can't see how and I was afraid to break it.
If anyone can help it would be greatly appreciated.
