Just how well will a Kubota M9540 pull a NH 1411 discbine?

I am looking to replace an older loader tractor and was thinking about a Kubota M9540 or a M96S. Anyone out there use one of these to pull a NH 1411 discbine? Its pretty hilly around here. I currently use a JD 4430 with a 466 engine and it will go up hill faster then I want to go no problem. Not selling that tractor but would like to be able to pull the 1411 with the new tractor as well. Have also looked at NH T6030, MF 5460, Kubota 108x among others. I would prefer to buy the smaller 9540 as it would be more nimble for other applications but am thinking HP may be questionable for discbine. Just dont want to buy almost enough tractor. Any other input on other tractors mentioned above would also be appreciated. Thanks

I have both machines and it will pull on flat ground easy enough at about 8mph start adding hills and you are going to want more power or you will have to drop gears.

Great tractor around the yard and moving bales but in the field I would prefer something with a little more grunt like the t6030 as it will also ride smoother. Just depends if you need the smaller size and if it is just back up you should be fine.

just my two cents

I got a Kubota 8560 tractor and a Kuhn 10 foot discbine. I also have hills that would make you say WOW that's hilly. Yes the extreme steep hills have to gear down but it handles the discbine just fine. Can't cut 7 miles an hour, but than again the steepest of the hills most tractors can't go up them 7 miles an hour empty, not pulling anything.

Not sure of 1411 power requirements, but my m126 feels a 7230 on steep hills a little. I wouldn't want to have 10-15 less PTOHP, but I like more power than needed,
The smaller Kubotas like the 9540 or the 108 have a small 3.9l 4 banger. The 126 has a 6.1L. That was my main reason to get the 126.

The 9540 isn't in the same class as those other tractors you listed by a mile, have you looked them over yet?
Yeah I've looked them over and I realize the size and weight difference. Don't really need the larger tractor unless the smaller won't handle the discbine. Smaller would be better for some other things I want to do with it. Thanks for all the replies
