Took the bale skiis out of my small square baler last year.

$200 and ill ship them to you inside of the USA
They came out of a New Holland BC5070

Both sides, top and bottom and bolts included.

30-40k bales on them but they look brand new.

Thanks

What made you decide to take them out?

I'm also curious as to the reason for removal of the skis from your baler.

I wanted to know why they were removed also.

Other folks have found in their hay they don’t do anything. Not surprising if you need to add wedges and resistors for your conditions that something slick doesn’t help.

That makes sense. I had wondered about their usefulness? I've never had a problem making a tight square bale without them.  I suppose they would protect portions of bale chamber from wearing out.

But they do have restrictors built into them though. Not just slick.

Yes my problem is in that sentence, slicker resistors. Those are opposite goals.

I suppose they slightly slim down the bale chamber which might help 21 bale bundles fit in a van slightly easier. If that was the case it would make a lot more sense to me than the other marketing stuff.

They've got little scalloped teardrop looking shapes in the plastic/polymer that helps keep the hay from springing back so much on each plunger stroke.  They help me make a better bale here.

Sure would be nice if op returned to let us know if sold or not. Know of 2 messages he has received. I to would like to know reason removed.

Yes, I certainly wonder too but at this point I’m mostly assuming sold. I tried to find other ads for them on the web to see if they were marked sold elsewhere but couldn’t find any, though I only checked a few of the most popular places.

Wow if I still had my 5070 I would jump on it.
