The Amish build some wagons for years . Flat beds and bale thrower wagon . Hoover Wagons . You should look at some of those . When the went from 16 to 18 or 20 Ft they find it takes heavy er stuff . They go with full dimension rough cut oak which goes a long way for strength The short wagons i think have 4x6" beams 2x4" cross stringers and 1" flooring. I think anything longer 6X6" and 3x4" and 1.25" . The oak they use is really strong and the floor really ties it together . Pine would knot do the job ' '

These wagons are 20 and 21 ft. Grapple loaded with 170-200 bales. Let me know if interested in any specs.
