Yesterday I was adjusting the tedder height on my tedder when the piston fell / unscrewed off the cylinder shaft. Anyone else ever have this happen? We took cylinder off took it apart and put everything back together and everything seems to be working fine. The only thing is there is a coller with a thin roll pin that was broken on the cylinder shaft. Krone doesn’t have a parts break down for the cylinder online so I guess I need to call dealer tomorrow.

I will give the typical company response: "I haven't seen that happen before".

I'm surprised that you were able to get the gland unscrewed.

Krone.1 I was surprised how easy it was to take apart. Hopefully I can get a rebuild kit don’t really want to buy a $500 cylinder just for a broken roll pin.

Do you have a good hydraulic shop locally?

I would take it to a hydraulic shop and let them repair. If it is a KW5.52t the accumulator pressure is 1600 PSI and on a KW7.82T it is 2700PSI.  Consequently, we don't offer kits or repair instructions.

Would you and FarmerBrown be able to PM me your serial numbers?

Deere dealer sold my brother two metric roll pins for the inside of mine.   I will still get the serial number as I cannot seem to locate my manual.
