For those that use a Alfalfa-Winter wheat rotation how long do you usually spend in each section of the rotation. For example: 4 or 5 years alfalfa to 1 year wheat and back to alfalfa?. Additionally, how long do you usually let an alfalfa stand grow for, I know it varies widely depending on the conditions of the stand itself but I have heard on average between about 3 and 7 years. And if you are just growing Alfalfa how long do you usually let the land fallow between stands? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

-Thank you
