Farm ground for sale

General Ag News/Discussion Today, 06:54 PM
There is a farm here that has just come up for sale.  208 acres about 4 miles out of Riverton right off the highway.  They are asking $995,000 for this farm; nice flat peace of ground, no buildings.  How can anyone farm that ground at that price?

Old and New

Farm Trucks & Trailers Today, 05:18 PM
I really had planned on this right now but, this showed up on Craigslist not far from the house. 2013 with 5k miles! Yes, 5,000. No it's not a Duramax but I'm happy with it. Kind of sad to retire my old '83. It helped me start this craziness and has been faithful.

New Fads

Chit Chat/Intros Today, 03:21 PM
I hope this Hipster Fad does flow into the AG community. I would probably have to pay a customer for buying my hay if he came to my farm dressed like that.

Kuhns Manufacturing Launches New Website

Posted Image

Kuhns Manufacturing has launched their new website at www. kuhnsmfg.com. If you are not familiar with Kuhns, now would be a great time to head to their new website and checkout what they have to offer.

The Kuhns Hay Accumulator system uses gravity and a simple mechanical system to efficiently arrange small square bales into a group. A Kuhns grabber or Tie-Grabber mounted on a front end loader or skid steer can pick up the bales and load them onto a waiting truck or wagon. The packs can then be stacked in the barn with a grabber. Without the operator ever needing to touch a bale.

The accumulator uses no hydraulics, electronics, or chains. Using excess energy from the baler plunger, the bales are pushed up and out the top of the chute. As the bales slide down the accumulator bed, the last bale in each row swings a gate to open the next row. The last bale in the group opens the back gate. As the accumulator unloads itself, springs and counterweights automatically return all of the gates back to their starting position, ready for the next bale.

The best solutions to complex problems are the simple ones. As long as that simplicity gets results. Dependable equipment repeats these results time and time again, without error. The Kuhns Hay Accumulator system blends simplicity, efficiency, and dependability into a truly exceptional small square bale handling solution. Our seven different models give you the ability to optimize bale handling capacity for your specific farm operation.
