jd 535 hydrolic pickup

bought a jd 535 baler with hydrolic pickup. cylinder moves in and out ,but pickup don't move up or down. any pictures or ideas would be appreciated

IIRC on our 535 there was a flat bar that ran from the pickup to the arm that the cylinder pivots. We had the bolt fall out of it once and it caused the problem your having. Hope that helps.

Be sure manual lift crank is turned CCW enough to allow pickup to lower then crank mechanism can be utilized as a PU height stop.  I've witnessed a few times pickup hanging a little so that when hyd PU lift cylinder is retracted one needed to steep on gauge wheel bracket to get PU to lower
