I notice the lack of guarding on the huge fan. Oh to live in a day where natural selection weeds out the stupid people. Great video. Farmers in those days earned every penny they made and probably many more they did not.
$500 to put in the system. And save that @ (was it 50 per ton?) grain.
Todays corn @ $3 a bushel is $100-$125? A ton? Amazing how little grain hay food etc has risen compared to all else. But then again how many tons of hay could have been rolled up in the time they loaded a wagon loose?
Thanks for sharing. That was great! I love the music they use to make things more dramatic. Ha ha. I've watched a lot of the old videos from the 50's on farming, and get a kick out of every minute.
