we planted a grass alfalfa field in april it is doign pretty good considering lack of rain. It is about 5 inches tall in places but starting to turn brown a little. My dad says we should mow it now get the weeds knocked down and see what happens in the next coule months we may get a little cut off of it this year. It is 6 acres and for our horses. Anyone have any thoughts on the best way to proceed.
