In this area, quality hay, at a market price, inside storage plus a website with good search results and craigslist is all you need to sell all the hay you want. Auctions incur extra expenses that aren't needed. I've never thought about Vets. No real marketing plans needed. But if you are newer to the hay business and don't have repeat customers just make your price a little lower then market the first couple of years to attract and hopefully keep new customers. This is what I've done with my large squares which I haven't ever sold before. Although this year there is not much hay around so it's easy to pick up new customers.
