Looking for advice from those that have seen this before.
Was replaceing the belt lace Pins on our new to us JD 468 baler and one of the side belt (Right side) pins will not come out. The Pin is broken in 3 or 4 pieces and bent on one end. Some of the other belt pins were the same way, I was able to drive the broken pieces out with new pin and got all the other belts done, but this one will just not come out. Spent over an hour on it and still wont budge. Dont want to replace laceing or shorten belt by doing so.

Any one got any tricks or advice to get these pieces out? I can't belive someone would let these pins get this bad!

slack your belt off and bend the splice like a capital A, then take a dremel with a cutoff disk and cut between the lace segments. We change our pins every 2000 bales whether they need it our not, end of future problems.
