Help! Does anyone know if you can remove rocks from a old unused pasture with a york rake? I can rent a 36hp kabota 4x4 to pull it around about 20 acres of field.

Normally when you are going to use a York rake you would plow and disc first then york rake. The york rake would move the stones in a row . much like a bar rake does hay. Then you would need to use a loader to pick up the rows. I'm from Ohio and here we would plow and disc. Then we use a flat hay wagon and pickup rocks by hand. It is a tough job and it never ends. I know a local guy that has on old potato digger. He plows and disc then runs the potato digger into a dump wagon. He then dumps the rock in his roadways as base. It seems to work well for him.
