I pretty much just kick the tires and light the fire and lets roll ! (LOL) No im just kidding. I greas pretty regular, check the oil in the gear housings every once in awhile, twine and kinda just glance over the whole machine, grabbing and moving things making sure things arent wearing wrong.

We're new to round baling and I've noticed there's usually a few short pieces of twine wrapped around the
pickup reel, usually one or two. We're using polypropylene so it's tough and you can't just pull it out, I pull out
what I can with pliers or by hand and let the rest go. Unless you're going to take the bands, between the pickup
teeth, off it's going to be tough getting it out. I've just been letting it go. Never heard of grind the teeth ends
before on a baler. I replaced 13 broken teeth on our 256 rake, that's a lot of missing teeth.
