Anyone seen the new Kuhn Balers? I got my first look at the new Kuhn Balers (they acquired Kverneland this year...i.e. Vicon Balers) while I was touring the Farm Progress show. They had a round and big square baler on the lot with Kuhn colors. Just curious if anyone has purchased one or seen one in action at any shows this year and how you liked them. I am thinking it is probably very little change from Vicon, but thought I would ask. I wonder what they will pick up on the mower conditioner side in the acquisition from the Tarrup. I was told by one of the guys I talked to that Kuhn and the Kverneland network will produce under their respective names for two years before becoming just Kuhn. I'll let you know what else I find out during the show.

Re: Anyone seen the new Kuhn Balers? There's probably nothing real new on the Kuhn balers, as the take over is still quite new, respectfully.
Kuhn will not pick up anything from the mower conditioner side as these are produced in Denmark and Kuhn has "only" bought the factory in Geldrop, Holland with the products produced here (balers, wrappers, maize choppers and drum mowers). I don't know if Kuhn are gonna keep producing all these machines, but you are correct that the machines will be produced and sold in both the Kuhn, Kverneland, Vicon and Deutz Fahr brands untill late 2010.
BTW the Taarup brand is gone (may it RIP...) it's Kverneland now...
