@  deadmoose : (07 July 2015 - 10:53 PM) stack, what are you pulling with?
@  stack em up : (07 July 2015 - 10:18 PM) Wanna go to Thunder in the Valley this weekend in Rock Valley IA, but I dont think preggers should go.
@  stack em up : (07 July 2015 - 10:11 PM) That's a damn shame Marty. I used to pull NATPA (antique) Hung it up when even that sport was ruined by people spending cubic dollars.
@  mlappin : (07 July 2015 - 09:11 PM) /sigh…city people…have some friends going to the fair with us Thursday night that have never been to a NTPA tractor pull before.
@  Dill : (07 July 2015 - 07:28 PM) Mine is on 24/7, we've been cell only for 10 years. Last year our signal went bad at home. I've got a range extender now that ties into my net connection. Still can't carry on a call in the barn or pasture. Have to say I'm probably more efficent now. "I'll call you back when I get into the house tonight"
@  Shetland She... : (07 July 2015 - 06:58 PM) Dill, that makes a lotta sense! We are on U S Cellular, and signal is "sketchy" here, plus, her phone is apt to be on while at home! Mine, on the other hand, gets turned on when I leave, and back off when I get back home.
@  deadmoose : (07 July 2015 - 06:43 PM) Not all droids are created equal. Some may suck. Some are WAY better than the fruity ones.
@  Dill : (07 July 2015 - 05:17 PM) a lot of it is how hard the phone is searching for a signal. I usually get a day out of mine. But if I'm up at buddy's farm with no coverage it'll kill the phone in about 4 hours.
@  Shetland She... : (07 July 2015 - 02:55 PM) Interesting, Grate! Wife and I bought Iphone4's a few months ago, and mine goes for weeks without a charge, being shut off a good share of the time, while her's seems to go dead almost over night!
@  Grateful11 : (07 July 2015 - 12:57 PM) Maybe we should start a phone thread :D
@  Grateful11 : (07 July 2015 - 12:55 PM) The iPhone 5 is known for battery problems. Apple replaced mine once for free, they $80 for another one. There's a guy not too far from that will replace them for $40, I'm going to need one soon. My wife's iPhone 4 is almost 5 years old and still holds a charge for several days.
@  Grateful11 : (07 July 2015 - 12:48 PM) By not upgrading our iPhones, or any smartphone, with Verizon and you're due an upgrade, you can save $25 per line with 10Gb of data per month., $10 per line per month with like 6Gb of data.
@  Dill : (07 July 2015 - 12:16 PM) day old calves shouldn't be able to run that fast. Must be the angus in him.
@  PaMike : (07 July 2015 - 12:00 PM) Might cut hay tomorrow night. Problem is the ground is WET. We got 2 1/2" inches yesterday...
@  mlappin : (07 July 2015 - 09:26 AM) Never had a battery issue with my Droids, I’ll give em that. I have had a iPhone replaced after some minus 30 weather as the battery wouldn’t hold a charge afterwards.
@  Grateful11 : (07 July 2015 - 09:16 AM) On the Droid phone battery thing, it's really not. Just that a lot of my sons friends talk about changing batteries a lot so If you're going to get an Android phone seems like it would be best to get that you can change the battery yourself.
@  snowball : (07 July 2015 - 08:51 AM) Shetland at least you have a window.. we were suppose to a have a window to but that got close sometime last night and now they are warning us about the crapy air quality due to the smoke from the Canadian forest fires
@  mlappin : (07 July 2015 - 08:43 AM) Yah, weather is looking somewhat questionable here as well, problem is I need at least a week of clear weather before trying to make the last 35 acres of first cutting, all on the clay and we had another 1 1/4” this morning
@  Shetland She... : (07 July 2015 - 08:41 AM) Dang weather window, for end of week, is shrinking from both ends! :(
@  mlappin : (07 July 2015 - 08:40 AM) Well too wet to haul any hay to my buyer or home so might as well finish the fertilizer spreader to day. Repainted everything and replacing half a dozen troublesome bearings with stainless ones.
