@  Shetland She... : (25 January 2015 - 10:30 AM) Ayup Dill, Srn NH 'specially the Monadnocks 'posta get the heaviest! Think I'll drop the forks off the 5610-2, and put the bucket on!
@  Bgriffin856 : (25 January 2015 - 10:21 AM) As long as milk prices aren't what they were in 09 I'll be happy. That year was a tough one
@  Bgriffin856 : (25 January 2015 - 10:17 AM) One more week and it'll be February. Light till almost 6 in the pm. Spring is getting closer guys
@  Dill : (25 January 2015 - 09:24 AM) Looks like a good storm coming monday, looks like a possible couple feet. People are freaking out, full on french toast alert. Have to buy all the milk and eggs you can find.
@  Vol : (25 January 2015 - 08:44 AM) Looked into the Coffee maker this morning to inspect the water filter and found a Asian stink bug laying on top of the filter.......evidently the filter was still working pretty good.
@  Shetland She... : (25 January 2015 - 08:04 AM) 31° and partly cloudy here in srn NH, should be mostly sunny and reach 32 later.
@  PaMike : (25 January 2015 - 07:49 AM) Wow. under $15 is not good! At least fuel has come down. My neighbor went bankrupt at $12 milk a few years ago...
@  endrow : (25 January 2015 - 03:09 AM) yes not looking forward to low milk prices
@  Bgriffin856 : (24 January 2015 - 11:35 PM) Could be under 15. looking ugly
@  PaMike : (24 January 2015 - 09:28 PM) What are they projecting for milk prices? I hear they will fall in 2015
@  Bgriffin856 : (24 January 2015 - 08:49 PM) Getting over a dollar a pound for good dairy culls. Getting rid of them before the market is flooded with them when milk drops
@  jturbo10 : (24 January 2015 - 07:51 PM) A golfing buddy of mine is a manager of a meat firm in Missouri that has a contract to grind the meat for MD burgers. They get frozen boxes of meat from Australia and the secret blends of spices, fillers, preservatives etc from MD's. They thaw, mix/grind, and package the meat for MD. Don't know how much American beef they buy locally. Believe Whataburger's beef is American raised Angus beef. Texas Tech Red Raiders bet Kansas Jayhawks....didn't see that one coming.
@  deadmoose : (24 January 2015 - 06:03 PM) And are you sure they are too thin to taste like beef? I would not be surprised if the actual beef percentage is low.
@  deadmoose : (24 January 2015 - 06:02 PM) Cline nothing to miss there. Maybe 3 or 4 years ago I decided never again at that place. I miss it as much as I miss shopping at Wal Mart.
@  Dill : (24 January 2015 - 04:25 PM) Ya about 20 days from tapping. Hopefully this is the last year of "small" scale. With the logging job we did, we also opened up the old sugarbushes. Hoping to get them online with our own sugarhouse next spring.
@  FarmerCline : (24 January 2015 - 04:00 PM) It's been about 10 years or more since I last ate at McDonald's......and I plan to keep it that way. Their burgers are so thin you can't actually taste the beef.
@  jturbo10 : (24 January 2015 - 03:17 PM) 60 degrees, wind at 10mph, with sunny skies and temps in the high 60s soon. Nice prelude to Feb. KSU won at OSU in BB...go Wildcats. Kentucky looks tough this year.
@  jturbo10 : (24 January 2015 - 03:14 PM) Think Whataburger: If you live in Texas you would never think of eating something from Mickey D's. MD cheeseburgers are so thin and full of filler products. I do like the fries and coffee but that is about it. The patty melt or Cheddar burger at Whataburger are incredible.
@  Vol : (24 January 2015 - 02:54 PM) McDonalds sales have decreased for 5 consecutive quarters now....really surprising but many folks now view Micky D's as very unhealthy....and with reason.
@  Shetland She... : (24 January 2015 - 02:24 PM) Just think Dill, another month it will be time to tap! :D
