@  Vol : (24 May 2015 - 04:58 AM) For with much wisdom comes much sorrow; the more knowledge, the more grief. Ecc.1:18
@  Vol : (24 May 2015 - 04:17 AM) Probably the best way in smaller fields Hayden....I hope you have a good day today picking. I think if would be more manuverable with a inline baler in small fields.....maybe sometime you could borrow one and see if there was much of a difference.....about have to be in tighter working areas.
@  FarmerCline : (24 May 2015 - 01:04 AM) Mike, there has been a very steep learning curve to the bandit for me. Not as much the workings of the machine itself but maneuvering it behind the baler in the small, odd shaped hilly fields I have. I have came to the conclusion that it is simple not going to work out being pulled behind the baler.......the next step is going to be trying out the pickup head.......I'm thinking it should be much more maneuverable by itself picking up the bales off the ground.
@  Bonfire : (24 May 2015 - 12:02 AM) Jeff Gordon???? Oh geeeeez.
@  Bonfire : (24 May 2015 - 12:00 AM) Yea, I had to get the Husky out and clean the fence off. Again.
@  snowball : (23 May 2015 - 11:04 PM) turbro10.. the triple folds up to about 12'..I can relate to the Coke 600. I'am hope'n for rain around noon tomorrow..So i can watch the race I'am a huge Gordon fan have been since he started ...so this is special season for me .. Hate to see him go.. Bonfire .. I've fixed my share of fence in the dark before too .. It ain't much fun .. could be worse.. it could be raining while your fix'n fence...just FYI bonfire.. there is a product on the market you might think about investing in.. It's called a chain saw.. they been out for a while i'am surprised you haven't heard it.. they work good on trees ;)
@  haybaler101 : (23 May 2015 - 10:33 PM) 94 acres of beans today with a 11-15" planter. Not bad.
@  IHCman : (23 May 2015 - 10:00 PM) Had two nice days in a row. Must be a record for ND. in the 70s, sunshine, and not alot of wind.
@  Bonfire : (23 May 2015 - 07:55 PM) The weather has just been beautiful. I spect that hay would dry quicker than usual now. No baling here though. Been catchin got out cows this evening. Now fixin fence with the miners lamp. Damn a tree on a fence line. This is the fourth tree to fall on this 50' of fence in the last five years.
@  Vol : (23 May 2015 - 07:42 PM) Hows the bandit going FarmerCline?
@  FarmerCline : (23 May 2015 - 06:16 PM) Humidity is 24% right now......it looks like I'm going to be baling at night. With the low humidity the hay dried faster than I anticipated and even the oat hay has got dry enough that it needs some humidity to bale with excessive shattering.
@  Vol : (23 May 2015 - 05:52 PM) Wunder has the quickest Doppler radar of any weather service that I know of turbo.
@  jturbo10 : (23 May 2015 - 12:27 PM) 80 degrees, 12mph from s/e, and predicting rain with 81 % humidity. Mowing yards and paddocks before it rains again. Looking forward to Coke 600 and Indy 500...tradition.
@  jturbo10 : (23 May 2015 - 12:26 PM) Have you tried "wunderground.com". I use it a lot for hay season along with local state weather channel then bounce it off NOAA and Accuweather. Rain predicted all next week again but the important piece of info is the percentages. Snowball: If I had a 30 foot header I would have to change all my gates unless it would lift high enough to get over them.
@  endrow : (23 May 2015 - 11:59 AM) in our area I think noaa weather is more accurate than accu
@  mlappin : (23 May 2015 - 11:50 AM) We’ll see if the local weather idjit is right or not, his summer forecast is warmer than last year but still below normal temps, only 5 or 6 days in the 90’s instead of nine and less than normal precip.
@  Vol : (23 May 2015 - 10:39 AM) I use both Accuweather and NOAA to formulate my personal forecasts for here....NOAA iseems to be a bit closer on actual temps....both about the same for rain % here.
@  Grateful11 : (23 May 2015 - 06:53 AM) Had an Uncle that worked for a small city utility. He work in a little building that monitored a big natural gas pipeline that came through that area. They monitored the weather 24/7, they always relied on Accuweather for forecast but that was way back, I think he retired in early 80's. Not sure what's happened to them since then.
@  Shetland She... : (23 May 2015 - 06:49 AM) 42º and sunny here in srn NH. Should remain sunny with a high around 60º today. Red Flag Warning in effect for this afternoon.
@  mlappin : (23 May 2015 - 06:39 AM) ccuweather has been pretty close here…..
