The AG Belt™ gathering wheel uses a proprietary recipe of natural rubber and SBR that is integrally molded to produce the most durable, high performance rubber
gathering wheel available. The rubber fingers on the AG Belt gathering wheels are extremely durable, providing optimal performance longer by resisting finger
breakage under extreme conditions.
Our gathering wheels deliver more hay to the baler pickup and assist in gathering windblown windrows. A cleaner field on the
first pass means you don’t leave money in the field.
Marcrest Manufacturing Inc introduces the newest member of the Bale Baron line-up, the 4240SP Bale Baron, which will make its debut at the NFMS in Louisville, KY.
The new Self-Propelled Bale Baron is the latest innovation in their line of small bale packaging systems. The Self-Propelled Bale Baron is powerful and versatile and designed to increase your bale production without the use of a tractor. Powered by an impressive 173 HP 6 cylinder turbo charged diesel engine, the Self-Propelled Bale Baron efficiently grabs small bales and packs them up. With an in-field pickup speed of 12 MPH and a maximum capacity of 1100 bales/hour you can easily keep up to 3 small balers. The pickup is directly in front which eliminates head-turning and results in less operator fatigue. Equipped with 30 MPH road speed, hydrostatic braking, 4WD, Timbren® hollow rubber block suspension, air conditioning, and in-cab displays, you can ride in style.
A Self-propelled Bale Baron will be at Marcrest’s booth in the Pavilion Hall at the National Farm Machinery Show in Louisville. If you’re there feel free to drop by to see for yourself! Or you can watch a video on it at http://marcrestmfg.com/en/videos
Kuhns Manufacturing has launched their new website at www. kuhnsmfg.com. If you are not familiar with Kuhns, now would be a great time to head to their new website and checkout what they have to offer.
The Kuhns Hay Accumulator system uses gravity and a simple mechanical system to efficiently arrange small square bales into a group. A Kuhns grabber or Tie-Grabber mounted on a front end loader or skid steer can pick up the bales and load them onto a waiting truck or wagon. The packs can then be stacked in the barn with a grabber. Without the operator ever needing to touch a bale.
The accumulator uses no hydraulics, electronics, or chains. Using excess energy from the baler plunger, the bales are pushed up and out the top of the chute. As the bales slide down the accumulator bed, the last bale in each row swings a gate to open the next row. The last bale in the group opens the back gate. As the accumulator unloads itself, springs and counterweights automatically return all of the gates back to their starting position, ready for the next bale.
The best solutions to complex problems are the simple ones. As long as that simplicity gets results. Dependable equipment repeats these results time and time again, without error. The Kuhns Hay Accumulator system blends simplicity, efficiency, and dependability into a truly exceptional small square bale handling solution. Our seven different models give you the ability to optimize bale handling capacity for your specific farm operation.
John Deere launched recently their new L Series Balers. The new balers have a high capacity rotor, all this thanks to their partnership with Kuhn.
"Kuhn is a great dealer and partner," says Jeremy Unruh, product line manager, Ottumwa Works. "We took the original design to help us out of the gate and then changed more than 85% of it to fit the needs of the North American market."
The 2 high capacity balers , the L330 and L340 will produce dense and perfectly formed bales. The L330 is 83 inch wide when working and the L340 has a 90 inch width.
Key Points to the balers are:
- Heavy duty drive train
- 45 Stroke per minute gear box
- Gear and shaft driven
- Double tie knotters
- Heavy duty single fork system
- On board hydraulic density controls
- Integrated lubrication system and wiper plate
- ISOBUS electronics
- Electronic knotter flags
- Hydraulic-operated knotter cleaning fans
- Hydraulic roller chute
